Juley !!

From 12 to 23 August 2018 I, Chandrakant, Pankaj (my cousins) and Lalit (our friend) went on a “Ride of My Life” in the Ladakh Himalayas. Ladakh is the holy grail for motorcycle riding enthusiasts. All of us had thought about doing this ride at different points in time. However we did it together, it was a wonderful thing and coming true of a dream. We rode a Royal Enfield Himalayan (411 cc) motorcycle for our ride. Himalayan is a purpose built motorcycle for the terrain in the Himalayas.

We experienced the adventure, saw the mighty Himalayas, their beauty, stunning landscapes, rode through 10 high altitude passes and by a number of rivers. We also had a company of riders from different parts of the world which made the experience complete.

The land is so barren and the passes so high that only our fiercest enemies or our best friends would want to visit us
